Haleigh had her first trip out of the state to the Outer Banks beach. She did sooo wonderful. She slept the whole way down and the whole way home. She slept on the beach under the umbrella and loved the pool at the house. Below are the pictures from my cell phone:

8 Weeks

Eight weeks old yesterday...wow. Haleigh was fussy last week I think due to her shots. Thursday and Friday were longgg days. Thank goodness she is better. Last weekend we went to the outlets in Williamsburg. It was Haleigh's first time traveling. She did so well! And Sunday night Steven and I went on a mini date to the movies. It was our first "date" since Hales was born. Saturday we are heading to the Outer Banks with my family. Haleigh's first long trip and the first beach vaca. We have been shopping for bathing suits for her:) My friend is getting married Saturday night, so we decided the whole family should go and make a vacation out of it (and so we have a babysitter for Saturday night:)) We are so excited to see Ronnie (he's been at school) and have us all together for the first time in many months. 7 Weeks

Miss Haleigh is now 7 weeks old! She went on Monday for her 2 month check up and got 3 shots and an oral shot. She was such a brave girl. She cried horribly for about 30 seconds then fell asleep. She weighed 9.05 lbs and was 21.5 inches long.

In the past week, we have gone shopping at every mall in Richmond. Steven and I went to a wedding in the Outer Banks Saturday evening so Haleigh got to spend some quality time with my parents. It was so hard leaving her. I cried many times through out our trip (at the rest stop because I saw a baby, at the wedding because I saw a mom with her daughter, etc). It was nice; however, to have an evening with Steven. Uncle Ro came home for the weekend and was able to help give her a bath. She got to spend time with her Yiaya and Popou, Aunt Sammy and meet a family friend Joan. Her Uncle Muff came home too!!! Bradley got home yesterday evening and Haleigh and I were there waiting for him. Bradley has been in Boston since the week before she was born for baseball. I have missed him soooo much and was so excited for him to meet his niece.

I think Natalie and I have changed/fed Haleigh in every mall in Richmond.
